Learn under Phoenix Artistic Director,

Dr. Nicholle Andrews

UPDATE

Unfortuantely, due to the COVID-19 global crises, Phoenix has had to cancel all in-person workshops for the rest of 2021.

If you are interested in booking a virtual workshop, or looking at a date for spring 2022 to work with Dr. Andrews, please contact us.

In our 39 years of existence, Phoenix has always valued continual learning and the power of education.

This season, Phoenix is thrilled to be offering virtual workshops for community ensembles and student groups, led by our Artistic Director, Dr. Nicholle Andrews. Nicholle brings with her a breadth of experience working with groups of all levels, ages, and sizes, and is excited to work individually with groups from around the world through the use of technology.

Workshops generally run for one hour and offer a relaxed, personable learning experience for singers and directors alike. Nicholle is eager to offer expertise in one of these key areas:

  1. Concert Preparation
Designed for ensembles that are concert ready and would like to have that little extra assistance.
  2. Vocal Technique
This workshop is designed for ensembles that are looking for more guidance in the area of vocal production and unification.
  3. Sight-Reading
This workshop is designed for ensembles that would like to work on group sight-reading exercises and activities.

Directors who book a workshop will be offered a complimentary ticket to Phoenix’s next in-person concert, and all workshop participants will receive discounted admission ($5/ student, $10/ adult) to in-person events or free admission to online events.

We are excited to share some of the Phoenix experience with you in this way.

Phoenix Open Rehearsal – June 2021

Elementary, middle and high school music teachers are invited to attend an open Phoenix rehearsal. Open rehearsals are interactive, and teachers are invited to sit or stand in with the members of Phoenix Chamber Choir to experience how it feels to be part of our ensemble. At the end of the rehearsal, we have an open Q&A with both the Artistic Director, Assistant Conductor and choristers.
