Welcome Aniria Sanz, Phoenix’s New Administrator!

Phoenix is thrilled to welcome Aniria Sanz as our new Administrator!

Aniria Sanz, a seasoned arts administrator hailing from Spain, has built a diverse and international career in the arts and events management sector. Aniria’s passion for the arts was ignited at an early age through her exposure to the world of music, thanks to her father, a choir conductor in her hometown’s Opera Hall.

In 2013, Aniria moved to Scotland where she pursued a Master’s degree in Festival and Events Management, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of event organization. Aniria’s passion for the arts then took her to Australia, where she played a vital role in the Sydney International Piano Competition, fine-tuning her skills in managing large-scale cultural events. In 2017, she made Vancouver her new home and embarked on a series of key roles with organizations like the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the Alzheimer Society of B.C., Turning Point Ensemble, and Lions Gate Sinfonia.

Aniria’s global experiences have honed her into an organized, efficient, and highly responsive arts professional. Her enthusiasm for the arts extends beyond the workplace, as she actively supports local cultural initiatives, loves cinema and art, and is a dedicated music enthusiast. Aniria is thrilled to join the Phoenix Chamber Choir, where her passion for music and arts management align perfectly. She is eager to contribute to Vancouver’s dynamic choral community.

Please join us in welcoming Aniria to the Phoenix Family!
