Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Phoenix Chamber Choir!

Earlybird Auditions happened in June, but our main set of audition dates are:

Friday, August 9, 2019, from 6-9 pm

Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 12-6 pm

What to expect

Singers are asked to prepare two contrasting pieces in your preferred vocal range and style. You will also be sent a piece of choral repertoire one week in advance of your audition date and should come to the audition prepared to sing your part in a quartet with others. Lastly, there will be a short sight singing excerpt provided at the audition, which will also be sung in quartets.  This session is also a great time to meet our new Artistic Director, Nicholle Andrews, D. Mus., who will be in town to meet and select new singers as well as our new Assistant Conductor, Ian Bannerman.

How do I sign up?

Email our administrator to reserve your spot today.

Please indicate a date and time range (i.e. “after 5 pm” or “between 11 am and 1 pm”) that you would be able to be present for an audition. We would likewise appreciate a brief introduction of yourself in your email: tell us a bit about where you come from, your musical experience, background and repertoire, and why you are interested in singing with Phoenix in our upcoming season.
